Tip: A simple workflow for on‑the‑go backup + home sync

I’ve been using the PocketCloud for a while and found a workflow that works really well for me. Thought I’d share:

On the go (shooting outdoors, traveling):

  • Bring only the main PocketCloud unit (leave the Dock at home).

  • After shooting, insert the SD card and press the button to back up.

When I get home:

  • Place the PocketCloud onto the Dock.

  • The device automatically syncs all new files to the second SSD inside the Dock.

  • (Optional) Set up auto‑upload to Google Drive or Dropbox from the app for extra cloud backup.

This gives me three copies: main unit + Dock + cloud. It’s a pretty solid 3‑2‑1 backup strategy without any manual steps.
